Pay It Forward
Most charity pages tell you to donate. We are going to tell you when not to donate to us, and when it is the smartest thing you can do.
Every microgreen we sell carries a hidden line item.
10% of our profits go to fighting human trafficking through Worthwhile Thrift in Doylestown, Collegeville, and Horsham. We do not write a fundraising page about it. We do not put a "donate" sticker on the box. We just send the money, every month, no exceptions.
Some of it goes directly into Worthwhile's survivor programs as cash. Some becomes clothes and household essentials we buy from their shops, which is how their thrift model funds the rest of their work. We also send cash directly to local homeless shelters and food banks when the need shows up.
That happens whether you ever donate to us or not. Now here is the question that matters more than any of that...
What is the highest-impact way you can give right now?
Two Paths. Both Work.
One sends more of your dollar to the cause. The other doubles the food that ends up on the shelter table.
Donate Cash. Go Direct.
If you want to give cash, send it straight to the nonprofit. Their merchant fees are typically lower than ours, which means more of your dollar reaches the people who need it.
We will not pretend to be a middleman. There is no version of this where we collect your donation, take a cut, and forward the rest. The fastest way to put more food on a shelter shelf with cash is to send the cash to the shelter.

Yes, we are linking you to other people's donate buttons on our own donate page. That is on purpose.
Donate Microgreens. We Double It.
If you want food on a shelter's table tomorrow, this is the path. You purchase microgreens through us for a partner organization. We deliver them. Then we match your purchase, doubling the amount of fresh, nutrient-dense food that arrives at the shelter.
$20 from you = $40 in microgreens delivered.
Cilantro on the salad bar at a family shelter. Sunflower shoots on the rice bowl at a food pantry. Pet grass for the SPCA shelter cats. Real food, doubled by our match, every order.
This only works through us because we control the entire supply chain. We grow it, we deliver it, we double it. No third party. No "we will get to it next month."

π Submit Your OrganizationFrequently Asked Questions
Why do you tell people to donate cash directly to the nonprofits?
Their merchant fees are typically lower than ours, which means more of every dollar reaches the mission. We refuse to be a middleman who skims off donations. If cash is what you want to give, send it straight to the source.
What does the matching donation actually do?
When you purchase microgreens through us for a partner shelter or food bank, we deliver them, and then we match your purchase. $20 from you becomes $40 worth of fresh microgreens delivered to the recipient. We can do this because we control the supply, we grow it, we deliver it, we double it.
How do I know my matched donation actually got delivered?
Every matched delivery is logged against your donation ID. You receive a confirmation email when it leaves the farm and another when the partner organization confirms receipt. Photos and signed delivery confirmations are kept on file.
Can our nonprofit apply to receive donations through MGFX?
Yes. Use the submission form. We accept applications from homeless shelters, food banks, animal shelters including SPCA chapters, anti-trafficking organizations, and other 501(c)(3) groups serving Southeastern Pennsylvania. Approved partners get a dedicated page on our site and the matching benefit.
Where does the 10% of MGFX profits actually go?
10% of every dollar of profit we make goes to Worthwhile Thrift, the anti-human-trafficking organization with stores in Doylestown, Collegeville, and Horsham. Some of it goes as cash directly to their general fund. Some becomes clothes and essentials we buy from their shops to support survivor employment. The rest goes to other local shelters as needed.
Can I make my donation in honor of, or in memory of, someone?
Yes. The donation form has fields for in-honor-of and in-memory-of. The recipient organization sees the dedication. You receive a tax receipt with the dedication noted.
Pick a path. Pick an organization. Move.
The need is not theoretical. There is a family in a shelter tonight that has not had fresh greens in a month. The fastest thing you can do is choose a partner.
