They entered at seven and eight years old and took first place. They are twice that size now, and they are coming back with two businesses instead of one.

What's At The Table ๐
Fiona: Microgreens
She has been running booths since she was eight. Fresh trays, cut days before, not weeks. Ask her about seed density or watering and she will answer without looking at a parent. That is the part people remember.
Xavier: Easy-To-Manage House Plants
His own business, his own product line. Plants chosen specifically because they survive real life. If you have killed everything green you have ever owned, he built this table for you. Ask him what to do about the one dying on your windowsill.
Come Vote For Them
If you stop by, vote for Fiona or Xavier. It costs you nothing and it means a great deal to a kid who built something and put it in front of strangers.
Every Young Founder There
Ours are two tables out of many. Walk the whole fair. Buy something from a kid you have never met. That is the entire point of the morning.
๐ They Already Won This Once
First place. Seven and eight years old, standing behind their own table, making their own pitch, handling their own money.
We did not build the booth for them and we did not answer for them. That was the deal then and it is the deal now. If a customer asks a question, the kid answers it.
They are twice the size they were that morning. So are the businesses.
๐ฑ Why We Keep Bringing Them Back
A kid can be told they are capable a thousand times and not believe it once. Then a stranger hands them a five dollar bill for something they grew, and the argument is over.
That is what this fair does. Not a lemonade stand with a parent doing the work behind it. Real inventory, real pricing, real customers who can walk away. Some do. That lesson is worth the whole morning too.
