Chive Cream Cheese Bagel π₯―
Breakfast classic upgraded with chive microgreens folded into cream cheese and scattered tall on top. Mild onion bite cuts the rich cream.
Ingredients
- 2 fresh bagels (everything or plain)
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 oz fresh chive microgreens (half chopped, half whole)
- 1 lemon, zested
- Optional: 2 oz smoked salmon
- Optional: capers, thin red onion
- Flaky salt, cracked pepper
Method
- Slice and toast bagels.
- Fold chopped chives plus lemon zest into cream cheese.
- Spread thickly. Add salmon, capers, onion if using.
- Crown with whole microgreens. Salt and pepper. Eat within 5 min.
